Make of fridge
I had a friend take off the back panel, which I certainly can do myself....it was covered in dirt...and he had no idea what to do.

Good news!
They only had to lift the top part about an inch to release the squished cable and its working now just fine.
Just wish I could have a re-do of my camping trip!!
