Or, if your trailer had a dealer added TV/DVD/CD/FM/AM player like mine, the three-position switch did not control that circuit. That device was always subjecting my battery to a "vampire" current...

Probably correct as long as you don't have something in the trailer that's putting a drain on the battery.
