I've always ran the fridge on all my trailers...

I've always ran the fridge on all my trailers including the hilo on propane with no issues. The only inconvenience is stopping ahead of time to turn it off before fueling then relighting it after...

I use a 8500 company gen in the back in a cap on job sites with the back and one side window open and no problems with fresh air, heat or exhaust. A smaller one should be fine.

Caulk it on and you can also shoot it with a pin nailer just like wood trim then you only have tiny holes to caulk and caulk the perimeter.
