Default Huricane may cause price of gasoline to go up.

I heard this on the world news tonight. The huricane has caused refineries along the gulf coast to shut down, also spoke about a refinery fire in Venusalia.Gasoline could go up 25cents a gallon. I'll wait and see if we have shortages. We gassed up today at the Indian reservation for $3.64 a gal.

May cause? They've been steadily going up since they hit the low spot back in the spring. Guess, throughout the summer, the speculators knew a hurricane was going to hit the Gulf and were raising prices due to the shortage.

Those greedy (expletive deleted) are always looking for an excuse to raise the price. Even if there is no legitimate reason, they will reach for straws to try to explain the increase away.

Default Gas prices up/greed

The oil companies are making millions and billions in profits. Laughing all the way to the bank. We should all ride bikes, walk and take the bus. Better for our health and pocket book. Gee sure wish my DH would get a 25% pay raise. Guess we'll have to stimulate the economy with stay cations!! More trailers will be "Wally docking for free". Or is it gullmart? Having the gull to stay at WallMart for free. Saw the most trailers ever at Walmart today.
