Default Top half door sag

Ever since dh did a rebuild on the top half of our door it has sagged a little. You have to grab it by the outside bottom corner and lift up on it a little bit to get the lock aligned to close it. If you are on the inside you have to grab it by the inside door latch and lift it up a bit so everything lines up properly to close. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

The area around the door is the weakest part of the upper section and there could be some flex causing it. Is it different in the up position than in the down?

Hi Sam, The top 3 or 4 possibities that strike me include:
-A bent hinge. DH may be able to remove and straighten.
-Sometimes, a very little change in angle caused by age/use/wear can cause this type of door to sag a little. That can make a big change at the strikeface/latch location. Possible bottom hinge shimming could lift the door to meet the strikeface at it's proper point.
-The strikeface may simply need adjusting.
-Of course, it could be related to the top rebuild.
We all hope it's something simple! Bob
