Default Replacement toilet recommendations?

Hi All,

The thetford Aqua magic IV that was installed when I bought the trailer has multiple issues with it, and needs to be replaced.

Im living in the trailer full time and am hoping to get everything I need to replace it up front (gaskets, flanges, all of it.)

Im hoping to find something that won't leak or stink and has decent build quality.

The reviews online are just confusing me at this point. Even the Dometic 320 has a number of reviews claiming some serious design flaws that result in leaks and smell leaks (for example).

Any real world experiences from people who are happy with replacement toilets would be super helpful.

PS- I am ok with any height toilet, although if all else is equal I would prefer a lower one, to help me get that good squat going without the plastic bricks I use now to get the pelvis in a good poop position.

Thanks!

I replaced ours with the same brand Thetford but is the higher one and love it. Has the soft close and sprayer adapter. here is the link at Camping World where I got it. they also have the low and high profile it says.

Default Toilet

We also put in a ADA height toilet in our HiLo. The old toilet felt like you were severely dropping down. Decide if you want a lighter weight plastic toilet or a heavier porcelin one. I think it was a Tetford. Our HiLo dealer had all the pluming parts to make the adaption. Absolutely no trouble after several years. Compare prices on the internet. If memory serves me well we bought it from PPL Motor Homes in Texas.
