Cool Hello from new Hi-Lo owners in PA

Hello everyone, I have been doing a bunch of searches for my new, well definitely not new but new to us 1985 Hi-Lo Funchaser and every search leads me to this forum for answers so we figured we would join. If anyone would be able to lead us to the best way to find a replacement for our escape hatch vent cover we would be very grateful. We have found several issues so will probably be around quite often looking for assistance. Thank you in advance to anyone who can lend us a hand.

Default Welcome to the forum

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The escape vent cover is impossible to source as far as I know. I have a 1990 25ft. HiLo. I got the last one our dealer had. We keep putting UV protection son of a gun on it trying to max it out before replacement. Some have taken the old cover to a metal fab. shop and had one made up.

Default HiLo problems

Hi; Welcome to the forum. There have been a number of owners here on the forum parting out HiLos. Do a search here and see if you can find one. another idea would be to see if any of the bedroom windows that are emergency exits might fit in place of one of your windows. If you were lucky to find one you might fill in the old escape hatch opening with a fantastic fan. You might call JandR trailer repair and see if Jim or Rob have any ideas.Their ph# is 740-392-1600 or 1602 .
