Default Welcome to the forum.

I know this post is for cable replacement. It shows pictures and word descriptions on how to break the trailer apart. Top and bottom seperation. 3-3-2010 Cable replacement in my 1998 HiLo 24TD.

robinhood, If you have a chance, examine your "Bulb seal". It goes all the way around the trailer (except the door, of course) if it needs to be replaced, missing in places, torn or deteriorated, when replacing the cables would be a good time to replace this seal. My cables were replace some time in the past but the seal was not. Now I get to replace this seal after camping season! I have a great TEMP fix for this season but didn't take pics of it. Hint, the use of a swimming noodle did the job.

try this one- it has a number of procedures in it. the fourth one or so talks about separating roof.

and when you are done with that check out this thread:

robinhood, I'm pretty sure this was the thread I told you of. Thanks hilltool for finding it! I would suggest that as you complete each step, check it off your list. Then go through IT and the TRAILER looking for anything that may come between the top and bottom, such as up-dates or mods that any previous owners may have added. Like solar panels connected to control panels. Amazing what I've found. Also, watch those guide blocks and remove those guide block rails till your ready to lower.
