Default Our 2007 T24 arrived today.

Question: The rear spare wheel is dead centre. I was looking for a bumer place to mount a Hitch Receiver to carry a luggage cage for a generator and or Weber small BBQ. Does not seem to be any spot suitable. Too far left or right interferes with the tail lights. Any solutions or ideas?
The rear bumper is about flush with the camper body and there is a flap that partially covers the bumper by about an inch. So a bolt on seems out of the question. May have to have a receiver hitch welded on beneath the bumper
With appreciation,
KiltyintheRockies.

Default Be very careful about adding weight to the bumper area.

Adding weight can throw your tow balance off. I'm sure others will add to the advice you need. I have seen our HiLo dealer weld a bike rack to the back of a Classic(heavier) HiLo. I know this isn't what you want to hear.

Thank you. I suppose the generator and bbq will just have to be transported in the truck bed.

I agree that adding that much weight would be unadvisable.
