No, the black water holding tank is not concrete like a home style septic system. It is plastic like the gray water tank. Only difference is the contents. The black water tank is not a septic system. It is only a storage tank that holds the waste until you can dump the tank at a campground.

This may be a dumb question, but where did you get the idea of the black tank be made of concrete? I don't think the article that i linked mentioned anything like that. Or am I missing something here?
