Thumbs up HiLo 1981 tow wiring identification

I need to verify the wiring coming off the Hilo
is there a industry standard or safer can someone tell me the colors and function so i can verify and properly wire it up to a connector that matches my truck.

Hello, Kurt - Look at Post #3 in this thread: https://www.hilotrailerforum.com/f51...o-wiring-5171/ It contains the diagram for the wiring in the 1988 models. I know this is NOT your model year, but things didn't change much from year to year. I think you could rather easily verify if yours matches.
